About
Stunning bronze bowl is both an incense burner and a washer used to hold water for calligraphy painting. The pair of dragon like animals, called “Li,” is the symbol of prosperity and good fortune. The workmanship is fine and detailed depicting vivid expressions. This fantastic piece was made by the renowned bronze artist Wu Yan Jin, who lived in the 18th and 19th century during the Qing dynasty. His stamp is shown prominently on the bottom of the bowl. Rare.
