Antique 20th century very rare Edwardian solid silver pair of novelty pepperettes, each beautifully cast and realistically modelled as standing pheasants, the body cast with a detailed textured plumage, detachable heads. This is a very well made and collectable pair by a very collectable silversmith specialized in novelty pepperettes. Each pepperette is Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1903 (H), Maker’s mark WH (William Edward Hurcomb). Condition: In excellent condition, no damage. Size: Height (Each) 7.2cm Width (Each) 13.5 x 3.2cm Total weight 270g.
