each baluster body rising from a spreading foot with recessed base to a short straight neck with rolled rim, painted in vivid cobalt-blue to the exterior with a qilin and a phoenix amidst blooming foliages, all between keyfret bands, the domed cover with large lappet panels enclosing antiques and flowers and surmounted by a lotus bud finial

Height 45 cm, 17¾ in.

The vases have light glaze scratches; one of the covers has over-painting to approximately half of the body and another cover has over-painting to approximately two thirds of the body; one cover has glaze firing imperfections including numerous glaze pinholes.

此对青花博古纹将军罐，直口，丰肩，敛腹，平面砂底，附宝珠顶高圆盖。盖上青花写有吉祥如意四字配博古纹饰，盖延一圈绘祥云纹，云纹形似如意，表示绵延不断，颈部绘竹纹，象征高雅纯洁虚心有节，罐腹部绘博古图案，含有博古通今崇尚雅趣的意思，方显高洁清雅。此对罐青花色泽鲜艳，器型稳重挺拔，胎体洁白，釉面光润，纹饰生动活泼，充满生机，且成对流传至今，实属难得。
