Charming mid Victorian Jeweled Lizard Brooch set with tiny vibrant green pastes (to emulate demantoid garnets) and oversized ruby glass “eyes” set in gold bezels. Completely set in silver with gold pin bar and gold wash on back. Charming expression on this jovial, little salmander with wonderful detailed craftsmanship throughout. 2.4″ x 1′. 1860’s UK. Excellent condition.
